Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HishabNai (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

HishabNai is a local-first personal finance tracker for recording expenses, budgets, accounts, investments, and shared group spending. The Service is provided free of charge and is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Your account

  • You sign in using Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to access HishabNai.
  • You must provide accurate information and are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Your data and responsibilities

  • You own the data you enter into HishabNai. You are responsible for its accuracy.
  • Because HishabNai stores data locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups (the app provides export and backup tools). We are not liable for data loss resulting from cleared browser storage, device loss, or failure to back up.
  • You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Shared workspaces

If you create or join a shared space, you are responsible for who you invite and what you share. Data within a shared space is visible to all members of that space.

Not financial advice

HishabNai is a tracking tool only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on the information in the app are your own responsibility.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HishabNai is provided without warranties of any kind, and we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we update the Terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
